D'Ann Williams Biography
D’Ann Williams joined KACB in May of 2018. As president, she facilitates the board in its overall development, fundraising, finance, governance and event planning. She has over 22 years of professional and board experience in the nonprofit sector working the Diocese of Dallas as the Director of Operations and Develop for St. Francis Catholic Church in Frisco, TX. Taking the small satellite parish of 500 with her as employee 1 to over 12,000 parishioners, 80+ ministries/leaders and 22 employees, as well as consulting with other parishes in multiple Diocese and faiths.
When the S. Texas Eagle Ford oil play came to be, she accepted a position as founding board member for the Karnes City I.S.D. Education Foundation as VP of Marketing to help the under served school district recoup funds from oil companies involved in the play and local landowners. She assisted with the startup of the critically acclaimed Eagle Ford S.T.E.M. Camp for 5th through 8th graders. She also assisted the school district in its collaboration with Coastal Bend College, other school districts with early college programs and local industry. So that now, KCISD now graduate’s its seniors with associates degrees or vocational certifications.
D’Ann and her husband Mark moved to Rockport in the Spring of 2015. Since making the move, she has been involved with the Rockport Volunteer Fire Department, chaired of the Film Festival Red Carpet Party and is an advocate and volunteer for the Rockport Center for the Arts. She proudly has 2 married daughters (both with STEM careers – Nurse Practitioner / Mechanical Engineer) and a grandson.
